A boutique Split base
If you want a “wake up in the old town” kind of stay, this place is tucked right into Split’s historic centre. Step outside and you’re instantly in Diocletian’s Palace territory: marble lanes, hidden courtyards, and cafés that make you stop for “just one more” espresso. Wander down to the Riva promenade for sea views and people-watching, then climb up Marjan Hill for a breezy viewpoint walk when you fancy a bit of green with your city break.
Split is also an island-hopper’s dream. The ferry port is close, so day trips to Hvar, Brač or Šolta are totally doable and brilliantly tempting. Back on the mainland, hit Bačvice for a quick swim, or chase sunset at Kasjuni Beach if you want something a little calmer.
Back at your boutique-style base, it’s all about keeping things simple and stylish. These rooms offer easy modern essentials like free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, plus a low-fuss set-up that lets you spend your time exploring, not organising. Food-wise, you’re spoiled: konobas for grilled seafood, wine bars for local pours, and gelato stops on basically every corner. Start your day with a bakery run, end it with a terrace dinner, and repeat as required. Split’s lively, sunny and slightly addictive. Caldo keeps you right in the middle of it. Now go get lost on purpose.
Just so you know, these are serviced rooms with no front desk. Cleaning is not included and will incur a €20 charge payable locally – a daily cleaning service is not offered.
