D Resort Sibenik

"An end of season experience, sadly, and disappointing in that there was no hotel boat to take hotel guests to the old town of Sibenik and the outdoor pool has been emptied. The staff are all good and rooms lovely with a spacious balcony but this was classed as a superior room. The dining room is delightful. Not an ideal hotel for families unless you have own transport."

"I had booked a standard room through Hilton - as a member with the highest status, I would have expected an upgrade - unfortunately, no such luck, as the hotel is a member of SLH (Small Luxury Hotels), which has its own loyalty program; The room was large, very nice bathroom, really large balcony - BUT: Directly under the room were the air conditioning evaporators, which made an extremely annoying & unpleasant sound (even with the door closed); question about a room change at the reception: They supposedly had no other room available. When asked about the fact that there were enough rooms available on the website and various booking platforms, the employee said that the rooms were not cleaned immediately after a guest's departure... how so?? Only booking another room on a website for the same night showed that the employee, Ms. Dina, was probably not that well informed about the house rules - this room was opposite with a view of the marina and very quiet; TIP: definitely book a Deluxe room (and not Superior)"

"We booked the presidential suite. Wow - that thing is huge - I probably got my 10,000 daily steps just moving around in the room. The presidential suit is on the the third floor with balconies on left, front and back. You get a very nice view of the Siebnik old town. Sitting in one place, you can enjoy the view in different lighting conditions. The presidential suite is amazing with the water views in all directions - almost as if on a ship traveling on the sea. The breakfast was overall decent but I wish they had a few more warm items for vegetarian people. The breakfast location is on the top floor with the same views we had from our room. Enjoying breakfast on the balcony with view of Siebnik and water views all around - very nice. Few misses with the room - some are easily fixable. The conditioner/soap bottles almost empty and pumps not very smooth. Shower drains not cleaned well - beginning to form a pool in the bathroom when taking a shower. Comforter was weird - provided for each person even on king bed - felt like you were camping and trying hard to snuggle it around you. Not fixable is the bad small sinks that they have - ended up splashing water all around. Inspite of the minor issues, this is sn amazing property to stay - very nice views, very well maintained grounds - excellent!"
