"What a beautiful hotel. Upon entering reception when we arrived we were impressed immediately. The views from the panoramic windows were just incredible. This is a small hotel of only 29 rooms making the service exceptional. The staff were some of the best I have experienced in the many hotels I have stayed in. Super friendly & helpful. A special shout out to Angela who served us in the restaurant & looked after us extremely well! We were lucky enough to have booked one of the 2 family rooms which gave us access to a pool on a large private patio only shared with one other family room. This pool was in the sun all day but also allowed access to shade if needed. The views off this terrace were spectacular too. Breakfasts were plentiful & well cooked with a good choice of items. We ate dinner 3 times in the hotel restaurant. It really was excellent with quality ingredients cooked skilfully. I would definitely recommend eating there if you are in Marina. It’s a shame that the restaurant wasn’t busier as it really was very good indeed. Marina is a small village with a few restaurants & good base to explore this part of Croatia. We hired a car which allowed us to visit many beautiful cities, towns & villages nearby & I would recommend it as the driving is so easy there. I would not hesitate in staying at the Marinus Beach Hotel again as it is most definitely one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in over the years. I agree with other reviewers that although this hotel is officially rated 4* it most certainly feels more 5*!"

"Everything from the quality of the fittings, rooms, pool, closeness of the sunbeds and the beach and the location The staff were all amazing! Courteous, polite, friendly helpful and quick to resolve any minor issues We cannot recommend the staff & this hotel enough The only thing that could be improved was the food- somewhat limited breakfasts ( not replenished so later on in the morning we missed out) The bacon was if the streaky type and overcooked The local yogurt pots were fabulous but again insufficient for the number of guests Bread was lovely but again insufficient for the number of guests The only thing we had from the breakfast menu we didn’t enjoy was the eggs Benedict- it really wasn’t a proper eggs Benedict with Bechamel sauce, but instead some processed bread type basket in which was put the poached eggs and other ingredient, but no sauce. This bread type basket was not pleasant Please don’t take this as a major issue, we’ve mentioned it in a constructive way, as we were very happy with our hotel in every other way"
