"This hotel (or rather the management) is a joke and TUI UK should not be allowing people to book it. TUI advertise the rooms as having air conditioning but when you check in you soon find the air conditioning does not work. It’ll blast hot air out but not cold air making it unbearable to sleep especially when it’s 27 degrees outside. Our room temperature was averaging 26.5-27 degrees at night which with an 18 month year old was dangerously high and the temperature caused my daughter to have night terrors. When I raised the issue with the front desk I was told the “hotel is in heat mode” and that it was a “management decision” not to turn the cold air on. What’s worse than this, I raised a complaint with TUI who spoke to the hotel and the hotel refused to confirm that I had raised a complaint or that there actually was no cold air conditioning. Joke of a hotel and complete liars. Avoid at all costs generally if you want a nice holiday and I would certainly also think twice about using TUI."

"An excellent hotel. Friendly, efficient staff. Quiet, no road noise. Shady coastal path to walk, past beautiful bays. Good restaurant. Plenty of outside seating, in the sun or in the shade. Small supermarket 5 mins away (though shuts at 15.00). Bus stop 15 mins, buses every 20 mins into Pula. 2.20 euros, 15 mins. Small niggles - it would be good if some water was left in room on arrival. Aircon not much cop. Restaurant wine prices high. An observation - it would be nice if people didn't dress as though they were going to the beach when having dinner in the excellent restaurant. It deserves better. Maybe the hotel could drop strong hint."

"Stayed here 16th -23rd May on a half board basis. The hotel does have the wow factor both inside and out. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Special mention to Patrick on Reception who arranged for the Villa v Freiburg game to be shown on the hotel cinema (excellent facility). Thank you young man you are a credit to your organisation 👏. Food was good but a little inconsistent at times. Midweek it was very quiet and as a result quality and variety dropped off. Rooms are excellent with great views from probably every room. Cleaners were top notch. Right now the niggles. The indoor pool - really large for an hotel but so difficult for less abled people to get into. Should have had a shallow area for older people and children and no jacuzzi or solarium. They really missed a trick there. Outside pool was better to access but oh so cold. A real test of your resilience to swim in it but it is May and not heated as in many hotels. Both salt water by the way. Second niggle ... It's been mentioned on recent previous review in that they didn't put the air-conditioning on. It was a lovely sunny and progressively hotter week ( not complaining 😬) and sleeping at night got more uncomfortable as the week went on. Apparently it doesn't come on until June but surely this can overridden. In fact I wouldn't come this hotel until June as the season doesn't really kick in until then. Some of the retail shops by the hotel hadn't opened for the season. It's as much a business hotel as it is a tourist hotel. All in all we did have a lovely time, met some lovely guests and the area is so beautiful. Just a few things that lost it a star."
