"Our stay at Valamar Rubin Sunny Hotel was a very pleasant experience. The reservation process was quick and hassle-free, and we were able to book our stay on the very same morning. The hotel's greatest advantage is undoubtedly its excellent location. It is situated right by the sea, and the historic center of Poreč is within easy walking distance along a beautiful coastal promenade, making a car practically unnecessary. While the hotel itself is somewhat dated and shows its age, the rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. We were particularly impressed by the swimming pool area. The pool is large, well-kept, and offers plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, so even during the high season it never felt overcrowded. The highest praise, however, goes to the food. The selection is truly outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste. Each meal offered plenty of choices, ranging from local specialties to international cuisine, ensuring that every member of the family could find something they enjoyed. In summary, Valamar Rubin Sunny Hotel offers an excellent location, friendly staff, a beautiful pool area, clean rooms, and outstanding food. I would happily recommend it to families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday near Poreč."

"This is our second stay at this wonderful hotel, and once again we are delighted. We were especially touched when the staff kindly offered us a room with a sea view, even though our original room overlooked the park. Another great improvement is that the entire hotel is now covered with Wi-Fi, making our stay even more comfortable. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, and the atmosphere of the hotel radiates warmth and care. Hotel Rubin is truly one of the most beautiful experiences in our lives, a place we will gladly return to again and again. It may not be the most luxurious – but for us, it is the most special! 💎✨"

"The location of the hotel is great. It is close to the city and very convenient. The pool area is nice, and the cemented beach is also quite pleasant. There is a beach bar available, and a pool bar too, although the prices at the pool bar are a bit high. A simple drink at the pool bar costs around 8.2 euros. Renting a chair and parasol on the beach is surprisingly expensive. Around 8 euros, or 7 euros if you are a Valamar guest. That said, the hotel itself feels very old. The rooms and the overall vibe make it clear that not much has been updated in a long time. The carpets are stained, the decor looks straight out of the eighties, and everything just feels outdated. The elevators are another issue. They are painfully slow, and there are only two for a hotel with nine floors and a large number of guests, which leads to long wait times. The rooms give off a budget feel, mostly because of how dated everything is. If you can look past that and are mainly there for the location and beach, then it can still be worth the money. Breakfast was average, nothing special. Lunch was a bit better. However, there are no gluten free options and no clear labeling for allergens in the food, which is something to be aware of if you have dietary restrictions."
