"In the entire area there is no sleeping on the weekend, loud music, yelling, until the morning hours, the walls of the buildings tremble even at a distance of 5 to 6 km. The noise borders on physical assault. All of this is not a vacation. I also believe the aquatic life suffers from this boundless noise. It is a pity, Lucca and the surrounding area would have pleased us and some of my friends and family members very much. But one cannot enjoy a vacation here."

"It has been 9 days, the food was good and tasty. Wide choice. Quietly located with beautiful nature and sea incl. ski lift if you like that. Quiet hotel with 2 nice swimming pools and bubbles in the pool. Our rooms were too small, so book a larger room with a balcony. Entertainment is also fine within a 5-minute walk. The lounge is great and always has quiet, nice music. Around this time also plenty of beds by the pool and in nature. However also some after division. The gym is a bit cramped and is missing three dumbbells. The jacuzzi in the spa doesn't have the bubbles working. Very disappointing. The steam bath sometimes turns on slowly too. The massage was great, but not really a friendly masseur. Very grumpy. The staff can also be unfriendly. If you don't get a drink at lunch, they behave very unfriendly. The room was cleaned fine, but it was still dusty on the phone and electronics and also very dusty in the lobby. Showerhead holder was also loose. And you can't get the air conditioning below 23 degrees, even though you really have to keep the bathroom door closed all day, otherwise it quickly gets to 25 degrees."

"We were there from Tuesday, 09/01 - Thursday, 09/03/2026 as a stopover, since we drove to Rabac afterward. The reception was anything but friendly. The lady at the reception gave the impression as if she hadn't slept for 3 nights; I don't know how to describe it, but the lady couldn't even look one in the eye, one had the feeling she was totally avoiding contact. Well, we got the room keys and went to our room. I booked a suite with a view of the sea. Our son (13) was also with us, and the booking stated that there was a sofa for him. Basically, the room was okay, it could have been worse, but the son's bed was insane: You could feel the iron springs there, and sleep was hardly possible. Since we were only passing through, we accepted that without making a big scene. On the first evening, the food was not good; on the second evening, there was a birthday party without any prior notice, apparently from the hotel. The dinner was then suddenly almost at a 5-star level, very strange, but we were happy about it. The next morning at check-out, we told the same lady as at check-in that the bed for the boy was a disaster. She said nothing to that and kept her gaze fixed on the computer. I then received the bill, paid it, and upon double-checking, I realized that she had not given me a discount for the boy, but had indeed deducted my Plava Laguna points. At first, I didn't even notice that, since the price was actually what I had calculated, but upon double-checking, I realized that she had simply forgotten the discount. It was a matter of 70.- I complained about it immediately, and lo and behold, I didn't need to explain much before I received a new bill. Very interesting, I thought to myself. The lady brought over a young man, who reversed the credit card transaction, and then I was able to pay again. This time with the correct amount, thanks to my checking. Overall, I am very disappointed and hope to have helped others with this. I have been going to Plava Laguna for 30 years, but you notice from year to year how arrogant they are becoming there. Price-performance ratio is absolutely not okay. There is something positive to say, however: Charging for the electric car is currently still free, for the time being."
