Hotel Mlini

"Great location if you want to visit Dubrovnik but also have a nice beach holiday. The water taxi is €20 per person return but if there's a group of you you can take an Uber from the hotel for about €15 each way and be flexible on time (I.e. beat the rush). Breakfast is from 7 am and is very good with a changing selection each day, that lets you get to the CITI walls for when they open and go through when it's quiet and cool(er). Nice restaurants on site and you can also walk along the beach towards Dubrovnik there is a nice coastal path and there's plenty of restaurants to choose from there. Prices for eating out a moderate comparable with eating out (in UK). ~€15 for a pizza. The pool lounges get taken early, you can get loungers down on the Beach but they charge you €10 per lounger and €8 for a parasol so fact that into your cost if staying here. We were fortunate on the Saturday night there was a competition at the Water polo club, a great evening out beer and freshly caught and bbq cooked fish. The only disappointment is the temperatures in the room but seem to have a default setting that they will not change and if you ask from reception they will tell you they change but doesn't and all the rooms are a little too warm for a good night sleep. Parking was €10/ day. Good choice of other restaurants along the beach. For us this was part 2 of a touring holiday but we love it. I would come here for a week and stay here too."

"Had a really nice stay at the Maistra Select Mlini Hotel. Hotel was very welcoming, clean and quiet. Our room was on the ground floor which was very handy but we missed out on the nice sea views. In saying that, the sea was literally 50 metres away so you didn't have far to go! Hotel is set in the lovely little village of Mlini. With its cute harbour and plenty of places to eat and drink it really is an idyllic spot. The stoney beach which is right in front of the hotel is very nice. Beautiful tourquise clear water. We had breakfast included in our package and while it was ok we felt it could have been a lot better. The options available were limited and we ended up having the same most mornings. An omelette station or some freshly cooked options would have been nice. The fresh fruit options were also limited. The coffee was putrid! I heard a lot of people complaining about it. The pool is shared with its sister hotel next door. While it was ok we felt it was a bit tired and could do with a bit of a revamp. I can't believe people are allowed smoke around the pool which was a bit off putting. Most days there was no issue with getting a sun lounger. All in all, it was a very nice stay and I would recommend it. Very convenient to get to Dubrovnik or Cavtat by bus, taxi or water taxi. A nice, quiet resort with loads of character."

"Had a fantastic week at the Mlini hotel, staff are all pleasant and friendly, helped to celebrate hubbys special birthday.Good size rooms with sea views, plenty of storage . Lovely selection at breakfast ,perfect location for the rocky beach , boat trips to Cavtat and Dubrovnik will definitely be back.Book it now you won't be disappointed ."
