"Certainly the more or less recent renovation has lifted the image of this hotel, given the discouraging judgments expressed in various past reviews. Subjective opinions, obviously, very respectable. Our opinion, however, aims to sail in the calm waters of objectivity, while emphasizing the fact that the cost of one night (we spent four here, from August 30 to September 3) is not exactly low compared to the standards of Croatia. But looking closely, in the end, it is compensated by what it offers: punctual cleaning, a large and comfortable room (even if the classification of \"double bed\" seems ignored and replaced by two single beds side by side), a spacious bathroom, with multiple dispensers of complimentary toiletries and soft towels. Basically everything is appropriate for the 4-star category, except for a few details: for example, the failure to change the bed linens, which normally happens, at the latest, after the third night. Breakfast is quite satisfactory in terms of variety and quality, including the sweet options. Perhaps the fruit selection is a bit lacking and the buffet layout is a bit disorganized. Rather, the location is not exactly central, but it is easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. In fact, not wanting to use the car, the garage (the spots are quite limited) proved very convenient, with an elevator connected to the floors. To reach the old town, a true jewel of ancient Ragusa, today Dubrovnik, we preferred to travel by public transport (bus number 6), with stops not far from the hotel."

"I spent two nights at this wonderful hotel. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but inside the hotel is completely renovated recently. The room I got was clean and very comfortable. There were some slippers you could have, a complimentary bottle of water. The room I had also had a balcony with morning sun. The restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever tried in a 4* hotel. Even though i only had 2 breakfast and 2 dinners - both buffet style, they seem to change the buffet menu from day to day. One of the days they even had swordfish on the menu. The quality of the food was really good, comparable with upper midrange restaurants. The service, especially at the restaurant was really good. The servers were very attentive and polite, as was the reception. All in all it is good value for money, if you can live with the lack of proximity to the old town."
