Apartments Dub Cavtat

"The Apartments are up the hill which is steep but we knew about that, which didn’t bother us as it’s easy to walk down then either get the bus or an uber back up, we liked the location as it’s quieter away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment itself was fine nothing spectacular but perfectly fine nicely furnished eneugh equipment if you wanted to self cater. The problem for us is they were advertised as serviced apartments by easyJet who we booked with and not once was our apartment serviced which wouldn’t bother us just along as rubbish was emptied and taken away it was not, not once during our stay which was a problem to us as it lead to a build up of rubbish which is not ideal, They were advertised as having a Reception or someone there for a minimum of 12 hours per day you could never find anyone to even ask to empty the bins, we saw the owner twice during our stay once on arrival as arranged a late check in due to our flight and once on departure day leaving our luggage as had a late flight. We’d managed too see someone the night before asked about a late departure room obviously willing to pay to be told 120 euros, I said thanks but no thanks as could of booked a room on other booking sites with them for 70 euros, I could of booked hotel Cavtat a 4 star hotel with facilities for that, to me that’s trying to rip guests off. The apartments are meant to be 3 star according to easyJet yes the apartments itself with furnishings and equipment maybe but no servicing of them, no actual 24 hour reception not even 12 as advertised and no other facilities ( which we knew about and wasn’t a problem to us) however due to all this I fail too see how they can be categorised as a 3 star with no real amenities, I would find it hard to even say 2 star maybe 1 star, would we stay again or recommend no due to the lack of room servicing and not having the 12 hour period of someone there as advertised and trying to charge people 120 euros for a room you could book on other sites for them at 70 euros."

"Our third time in Cavtat first time in an apartment. Perfect for what we needed- clean and two bedrooms our top floor apartment overlooked the second bay stunning view. The. Hosts are so friendly and could not do enough for us - a great restaurant across the road 'By the Way ' fabulous pizza and reasonably priced. The local shop is a short walk and is well stocked. The walk down to the harbour is lovely although there are a number of steps to walk down. The number 10 bus stops just outside and we choose this option for coming back. We would definitely recommend this place - for me d as md my husband and teenage son it was perfect. Cavtat is just so beautiful ."

"Convenient, quiet and clean. Close to a well-stocked shop, to a restaurant and bar and to the stop for nr. 10 busses that go to Dubrovnik or into Cavtat. The busses are very punctual. The kitchen utensils are a bit basic but that's expected at the price we paid. Bed and bedding are good and the 2 bedroom flat and balcony are a generous size. The view from the balcony is great. The manager speaks good English, as do most young Croatians we met. From Apartments Dub, it's 10 minutes downhill to the sea and the centre of Cavtat. You can catch the bus up the hill to come back! There are excellent short and long walks; the Tourist Office near the main bus stop in Cavtat has booklets with walks and cultural information. Try to be in Čilipi on a Sunday morning, for traditional dances. Čilipi also has an interesting little museum."
