Coastal pad in Cape Verde
Situated on the sun-soaked island of Sal in Cape Verde, VOI Vila do Farol Resort sits directly on Santa Maria Beach, offering you soft, golden sands and crystal-clear waters right outside your door. It’s also just a 10-minute stroll from the heart of Santa Maria, where lively markets and beach bars await, the perfect spot to soak up the vibrant Creole culture.
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the charming bungalows are designed with comfort in mind, offering all the modern conveniences you need, such as air conditioning, free wi-fi to share those beach moments, and satellite TVs for some relaxation time. Step out onto your private terrace to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with a beautiful sunset view.
If you’re not basking on the beach, head to the resort’s impressive saltwater pool surrounded by comfy sunbeds, where you can soak up the sunshine or take a refreshing dip. There’s also a dedicated kids’ area, where little ones can safely make a splash. If you prefer more active relaxation, there’s also tennis, beach volleyball, and a mini football pitch. For those in need of some R&R, the wellness centre is the perfect place to recharge with pampering treatments. And to dial up the holiday fun, the Bravo Entertainment Team is on hand to deliver daily activities, dance lessons, and evening shows to keep you entertained.
Start each morning with the resort’s generous breakfast buffet, offering fresh pastries, fruit, and plenty of tasty, hot options to keep you fuelled for the day ahead. For lunch and dinner, the Central Restaurant serves up a mix of international dishes and local Cape Verdean flavours. And outside the resort, there’s an array of fantastic dining options just a 10-minute walk away in Santa Maria. Here, you’ll find a mix of international and Cape Verdean cuisine, including local favourites like catchupa stew and grilled lobster. And as the sun sets, head back to the resort’s beach bar to enjoy a cocktail under the stars.
At VOI Vila do Farol Resort, relaxation, exploration, and fun come together like a perfect tropical cocktail. One moment you’re lounging by the pool with a drink in hand, and the next, you're exploring the vibrant streets of Santa Maria or diving into the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic. This isn’t just a holiday – it’s an adventure wrapped in endless sunshine, sandy beaches, and more excitement than you can shake a beach towel at!
Before you fly to Cape Verde, you must register your details and pay an airport tax. It’s around €31 per person and you need to do this at least seven days before you go. You can do it at https://www.ease.gov.cv/ or find out more at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/cape-verde/entry-requirements. If you don’t, there could be long delays at passport control when you arrive, causing you to miss your transfer. And if you miss your transfer because of this, easyJet holidays won’t be liable. We strongly recommend registering and paying before you travel to ensure a smooth start to your holiday.
