Oasis Salinas Sea

"In recent days, I had the displeasure of staying at the Oasis Atlantico Salinas and Sea hotel on Sal Island. The hotel is rated 5 stars, but in my opinion, it doesn't deserve even one. The only plus of this hotel is its location (proximity to the ocean and Santa Maria). However, the minuses: tasteless meals (breakfast always the same, the only edible things were eggs and cereal with milk; lunches were monotonous, usually with 2-3 dishes changed (you could eat fries and chicken); thematic dinners (again, a few dishes changed – again, very little was edible). Room: old, not renovated for a long time, and even that poorly done. From the attractions – for the first 7 days of the stay, water was dripping from the air conditioning, and moreover, right onto the fuse box; for a full day, the AC didn't work at all. Of course, each of these issues was reported, and even after one report, supposedly a request for a room change was submitted, but with no response whatsoever. Staff: nightmarish, people seem to have been hired by chance. Nowhere in the world have I encountered such an indifferent attitude toward the customer as here; the only competent people were the cleaning lady and Henri, who every morning at breakfast saved me from hunger with fried eggs. Already upon check-in, it turned out we had to wait for the room because it was still being cleaned (it was after 8:30 PM local time). If someone wants to leave their vacation disgusted and never return to Sal, I can recommend this hotel. But if someone values their time and money, wants to relax stress-free on a truly beautiful island and have a good time, they should avoid the Oasis Atlantico Salinas and Sea hotel like the plague. In short – I do not recommend it."

"Have just returned from this lovely hotel . Clean & very comfortable accomadation . All the staff are very attentive & nothing is to much trouble. Although the majority of staff appear to not speak English they all made sure they would help us with a member of staff who could !🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👏 . We had no kettle in the room on arrival but asked reception for one & it was duly delivered ! That day 🌟 The housekeeping Staff are very keen to do a good job daily . 🌟 The food is very well presented, good and a good choice for any tastes ! 🌟The event entertainment was amazing , especially the music quiz which was so much fun ! . There is a different theme every night and the dancers are absolutely amazing! With so much enthusiasm & energy !👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The facilities & staff all are good & would highly recommend this hotel . 🌟The only sad part for us was that the music at the pool while activities were not taking place ie acra aerobics / dance was far too loud ! Which made it difficult to talk or even just relax ! 😔 so we only stayed by the pool for one day ! . But overall would highly recommend this hotel & look forward to coming back again 🤗🌟🌟🌟🌟👏🙂"

"A nice hotel, We are very pleased with our stay. It is not a luxury 5 star hotel, but a very good 4 star hotel, We agree with our travel agency VING 4 star rating. Our review does not include all inclusive We only had breakfast. A very nice room. New, clean, nice bathroom and excellent shower. Pls note that the hotel has 2 floors but only 1 lift that goes only to the fitst floor, so if you stay on the 2nd floor you must walk up one floor. A very nice balcony facing the garden. A nice courtyard/ garden. Pls pay extra for room facing the garden much nice than facing the street, which is not so nice with rubber and noice. We had an excellent bedding not too hard. I contacted the hotel before arrival and extra bedding was alteady installed at arrival. We slept very well. Breakfast was ok with everything necessary. Location is excellent only aporox 300m to the city of Santa Maria.Beach promenade street is just outdide hotels backside, which is the nice side of the hotel with the pools and the beech and sea. In summary a very nice stay."
