"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. "A return visit. We have sampled Melia Dunas with grown up kids, and Melia Laguna, 2 years ago when it was TUI Blue hotel. So, we knew what to “expect!” Above all else, this is a fabulous location and it’s manned by lively people, who go the extra mile to welcome you. The CV motto is’No Stress’, and it tells you everything Of the 4 Melia hotels, Laguna is the quiet and reserved one; ideal for us old fogeys! That said, there is plenty going on; spa and gym on site, exercise and yoga every day and entertainment ( limited) but we enjoyed it in the evening That said we had some issues! However, we made a point of offering constructive feedback, and genuinely felt that customer services both wanted to know, and wanted to help! As mentioned, the terrace outside the swim up rooms is scruffy; the gardeners arrived next morning! We were late arriving and the dining room was poor that night; next day, we received a pack of bookings for the a la carte restaurant/ s as an apology Others have mentioned the hard beds and the linen quality, both can be improved, but we understand this is underway Whatever else, service with a smile, which we received everywhere, makes up for every little trial. Dining room food very varied and lots of fruit and fresh baking And the cocktails…..both the Sails Bar and the Aquabar competed daily to make us our perfect cocktails! Lovely staff all Melia Lana next door certainly louder, but we enjoyed the shared facilities I thought the pools ( mid May) were fine for me to enjoy a daily swim, pretty much same temperature as the sea? Best to stick inside the boundary of the lagoon if you swim in the sea, it can be unpredictable current wise Also, remember the constant breeze can very much fool you as to the effect of the sun!!! A lot of pink on display We love CV and will be back"
