Bora Bora Hotel

"We experienced an overbooking nightmare upon arrival, and when we finally got into our room, it suffered from a severe sanitary and health hazard (unbearable stench). The owner and the management lied constantly, offered no real solutions, and flat-out refused to refund even a single Euro. It was only after a long fight with proof that we successfully secured a full refund. Terrible service, dishonest staff, and unsafe conditions. Save yourself the nightmare and book somewhere else!"

"We have just returned from 2 weeks staying at the Bora Bora. It’s a lovely family run hotel with very helpful staff. This hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and you can catch a small train into Sunny Beach strip. Breakfast was included in the price and we could always fine something to eat. A different variety every day. We also eat there a couple of times in the day and the food was always hot and tasty. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one. We will be back next year."

"Hotel is situated at the quieter end of Sunny Beach which was perfect for us. Room was spotlessly clean and towels changed every other day, nice balcony. The two cleaners were constantly seen cleaning the hotel and sometimes doubling up on waitressing in the mornings. Breakfast was samey but we always found something to eat. One complaint though- the hot food was only tepid and the baked beans almost cold. We ate several evening meals and they were always cooked well and very tasty. And very reasonable too. Pool was heated but cloudy - I was assured that this was because of the products they used to clean the pool. Plenty of sunbeds available but there were always people reserving them before breakfast. No big deal as we used the beach instead. The toilet near the pool always ran out of toilet paper and soap and the hand dryer didn't always work. The staff were very nice but shout out goes to Yohanna who was always very helpful and ran the extra mile. She brought bacon out to me one morning as I didn't like the sausages which I thought was very kind of her. Overall a nice friendly hotel situated at the quieter end of the beach."
