voco Vienna Prater

"I stayed at voco Vienna Prater and unfortunately had a very poor experience. From the start, there was a strong sewage smell in the room, coming from the shower drain. The smell was truly unpleasant and made the room hard to stay in. I reported the problem to staff, but nothing was done to fix it. I was not offered another room, and no compensation or apology was offered either. A smell like this can happen in any building, but the way it was handled was disappointing. I expected much better from a hotel of this brand. I would not recommend this hotel until they take guest complaints more seriously."

"1 of 2 elevators broken for the entire stay. Personal did not restock bread, cups, egg cups, or teaspoons during breakfast. Bad with staff to contact during breakfast! On Friday evening it was difficult to find any staff again as we ordered expensive rump steak that was incredibly tough - it affected all three of us who ordered it. The hotel itself is very nice, but the experience absolutely does not give 4 stars"

"This hotel is located in the Prater area of Vienna. It is an amazing location, very quiet at night which is great. The staff is attentive and helpful and truly seem to care about the guest experience. The breakfast is very good; there have been some negative reviews in the past year but the hotel has really improved the quality and amount of offerings. This has been one of the better hotel breakfast's in Europe I have had. The hotel has a bar and restaurant in the evening. The restaurant is.. ok. There are many walkable locations to eat in the area. The hotel restaurant is not bad, but for what is there, it is quite expensive and there are many local options nearby. The only major drawback for me personally, was no gym but that is a personal preference."
