The Hoxton Vienna

"The Hoxton Vienna is located in the city center just a few steps from the Vienna Statdpark with it's famous statues and relaxing scenery. I was staying at the Hoxton and coordinated a group of clients who also stayed at the hotel. The Hoxton is exactly what I expect from a modern Hotel. The British flair, combined with modern art, efficient procedures and young vibes is a breath of fresh air in the often so uniform hotel structures. The room concepts are great, most of our guests and I stayed in the basic "cozy" rooms, but they have a very clever room structure, so I never missed any space and the big walk-in shower was a delight. I was especially grateful for the stellar service at the reception desk and the event/group bookers of the Hoxton. We have demanding guests from all over the world, and last minute changes always occur. Like room upgrades, changes, late check-out, early check-in, and guests bringing their family without notice, the reception team was always helpful and solved our issues in no time, directly at the reception and via phone. One minor thing is that we were told that water & tea in the rooms was complimentary, which they were, but in my case, they were not refilled every day, which I expected and seen in other hotels. Nevertheless, the reception also stocks a variety of drinks you can purchase for a small amount and take into the rooms. Plus the tap water is tasty, nice and cold. All in all, I stayed in any hotels around the Stadtpark area of Vienna, and the Hoxton is my favorite by far. Especially considering the value for money and the modern vibes."

"The hotel promises more with the published pictures than it actually delivers in reality. Rooms are very small, the pool on the roof as well. The breakfast room is absolute chaos. But it is certainly suitable for a short trip, the location is well-centered, the "Stadtpark" subway station is within walking distance."
