"I booked a Superior Room because of the fridge, but bizarre check-in experience put a dampener on our stay right from the get-go. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed me with absolute confidence that no room in the entire hotel had a fridge. He insisted that if we wanted our drinks cooled, we had to bring them down to the front desk and they will cool it in their fridge in the back. Even when I showed him my booking confirmation listing a fridge, he doubled down, claiming the online information was a mistake that he would "have them fix it." When we got to the room, it was exactly as booked— room with the fridge, 2 beds, coffee, kettle etc. We stayed for 5 nights, 4th floor, overlooking busy street. The room was quiet, beds were comfortable and I loved the Elemental Herbology bathroom amenities. However, the biggest issue was the room temperature. It was far too hot, and the thermostat was locked at 20°C with no way to adjust it. It felt much warmer than that inside. While the room amenities were what I expected, the confidently incorrect front desk service and the stifling room temperature ruined the experience."

"We stayed here for one night in July 2026. Pros: 1) The location is great. It is a very short walk from the Westbanhof and easy to get to/from via tram/metro/train. 2) There are plenty of eating options next to the hotel. 3) The check-in/check-out process was smooth and the staff was helpful and courteous and spoke good English. 4) The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. 5) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality was great. 6) The tariff was cheap. 7) There is a good laundromat short walk away from the hotel. 8) The WIFI was free with great speed and connectivity. "This hotel honestly was the perfect location for us, and the cheapest we could find and that’s why we chose it. Being right next to a major train station with its own tram stops and underground stops was essential. It also had a Billa (supermarket), Lidl, McDonald’s and Ikea right next to it for food. The staff were friendly and our plane was severely delayed so we didn’t get to check in till 1.30am the next morning and they were fine about it all thank goodness. After I’d heard horror stories of people saying they weren’t guaranteed their rooms past a certain time in the evening I was panicking! Luckily all was fine. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that but they did have vending machines in the lobby with snacks and drinks. They also had seating areas and even a little tiny outdoor bit with deck chairs. Our room was on the first floor right by the lift so easy to get to. It was clean, very basic but did its purpose. The only downgrade is for the really hard beds and only one flat pillow, but I feel like that’s a European standard most places. Other than that it had tea and coffee, a tv (in German of course), wardrobe space and a safe. It was a little outdated but that doesn’t bother me at all. And the noise level was fine didn’t hear a thing! If you want cheap, but with a good location this is a safe bet!"
