"We had a great stay here. Great staff, nice room and ok breakfast. The property has a series of apartments across multiple separated buildings behind the main road where reception is located. To access hotel facilities, including reception and breakfast, you need to navigate the different buildings. Lifts are available to all floors, which is a help for those with access needs. There is no cover between the buildings, which may be challenging with the elements! The rooms are ok. The beds are typically in an open loft space - if you're taller than 5' 10" you will have to crane your neck and there are steps to climb! Bed was comfy. Lovely lighting in room and windows open to let in fresh air. We used the aircon because the room easily became stuffy, even though it was cold outside. Small kitchenette, but no cooking equipment. Just a kettle, some crockery and cutlery. No washing cloth either, just a tiny sponge which is not great! Tiny cups - which only hold three moutfuls of tea! There are shared kitchen facilities available within the building or an adjoining one which have microwaves. Everything is accessed by a key code, which I think is neat. Breakfast was ok. It did the job, but not worth the full price per person as the food wasn't all the freshest or wasn't cooked as well as i liked (think cold, claggy eggs or cold, soggy bacon). A good variety was supplied though, so that was a plus. No supermarket or convenience store within 5 minutes walk, but there were a few within a 10 minute walk. Not many eateries nearby either, apart from the one operated by the property. Tram is right out front, and u-bahn or s-bahn about 10 mins walk away. The gym was nice, but the equipment was a little wonky and the gym room was in dire need of a vacuum! - the property should invest in some more, basic equipment and machines such as an electric treadmill and a set of static dumbbells. It would be better than the wood aesthetic, which looks good, but lacks functionality or ergonomics and is not safe to use in my view. There is enough room for more and better equipment. The game room looked nice - a TV would be a great addition. We were here for Eurovision and our friends were there in a different room. We could have watched the TV together in the games room and used the pool tables. The social rooms are great, but it appears that people seem to avoid them or not stay long! They are colourful and otherwise pleasant, but could be made more inviting to get people to stay. All in all, we enjoyed, but the property could improve a few little things to achieve a higher standard overall."
