IntercityHotel Wien

"Perfect location near the Westbahnhof and all means of transport but also at the beginning of a pedestrian street and numerous restaurants or bakeries or bars... but however slightly set back and therefore rather quiet. Very pleasant and attentive staff. A little extra for the receptionist present during our arrival in the early evening who made the effort to speak French. Good by the way 🫶 thank you I highly recommend this hotel. Very good bedding and very good equipment"

"Vienna was fully booked because of the dermatologist congress. The aging Intercity Hotel Wien charged its guests 321 EUR per night and, under the pretext of saving the planet, offered no room cleaning. Obviously, the guests are being taken for fools; cleaning is only available from the 3rd. night upon request. I doubt that it saves the planet if the guests at the Intercity Hotel Wien have to make their own beds. The price-performance ratio at this hotel is abysmal!"

"For our first visit to Vienna, we were very happy with our choice of this hotel. It can be difficult to choose a hotel when you don't know the layout of the city or have a good sense of distances. But this hotel is in a great location. It's right on a pleasantly quiet, pedestrian shopping street, with many restaurants and stores nearby, as well as a small grocery store. It is a pleasant walk along this street towards the old city, palace etc. Our room was very nice, clean, with a good bathroom and shower. Staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our bags as we had arrived early in the morning at the airport. This allowed us to go and explore the city and do the activities we had planned, which by our good luck included a free concert by Vienna Staatsoper and star singers in the park behind the palace. What a lovely first night in Vienna. We chose to add the breakfast buffet to our room, and would recommend it. There is a lots of choice with eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, toast, juices, etc. And the supplies are replenished frequently. We slept well, with good blackout curtains and little noise coming from the street. There isn't anything I would criticize. And I would definitely book here if returning to Vienna. It is nice to just walk out the door and have so many restaurants to choose from. Including budget, fast-food style pizza or kebab places if you are trying to stretch your funds. The breakfast at the hotel is great because it really filled us up and we didn't need lunch. Thank you so much to the staff and management here for running such a pleasant hotel."
