Hotel Am Konzerthaus Mgallery by Sofitel

"Many times on here a complaint is more of a personal problem than a hotel problem. While my complaint may be personal, it also applies to you. We are a senior couple traveling on our own during off season October 2026. The hotel is not easy to find and not convenient. When a site says "a short walk", be suspicious. We arrived at the hotel around 1:30, very tired after walking a mile with luggage, from the subway. The front desk said our room was not ready yet. I immediately said give me a room that is ready. Nope, I would have to wait until 3. That is a standard hotel lie and I know it. That hotel will do NOTHING to help you. I then asked for a place to sit down and some coffee. The answer was, go outside and find a cafe and you can buy coffee or water there. If they do not take care of me, they will not take care of you. We finally got into a room at 2:30. Here is the interesting part, after walking the city the next day, we were tired and decided to call a taxi to get back to the AM Konzerthaus. Most hotels will accommodate you. We went into a small hotel, the Living Hotels, right in the city center, convenient to everything. I explained to the lady (Patricia Maya De Pdeiss) that I was not a guest at that hotel but would she call a taxi for us. She took us into a waiting room, gave us each a bottle of water of our choice, or coffee, sat us down, and gave us a box of cookies, and told us to rest for a minute and she would call a taxi. And we were not even guest at that hotel. When I got back to the AM Konzerhaus I summoned the manager and told him what happened and asked him how he would feel if it were him? His answer was "what do you want?" He didn't get it either. So, if you travel to Vienna and want a great hotel, convenient to everything, try the Living Hotels or some other hotel, but not the AM Konzerthaus."
