"We are guests at this hotel from 10/09/2026 to 10/11/2026. This Saturday, we experienced an absolutely terrifying situation in room 909: When we left our room, we had to discover that another guest was trying to get into our room with their key card. They had just been assigned our room number by the front desk. A test showed: Their card worked perfectly on our door, while our own cards had been blocked by the system at the same time. There was therefore a serious double booking. Strangers had full access to our personal belongings and valuables during our absence. The fact that the rooms have an electronic locking button inside is absolutely useless if you are not in the room and the system unilaterally unlocks other people's cards. When we wanted to resolve the incident at the front desk, we experienced the next disappointment. The staff members were completely overwhelmed by the situation, extremely unfriendly, and reacted with excuses instead of professionalism or empathy. A request for the supervisor was simply brushed off with a smile and the comment that they were not there. Errors can happen in the system, but dealing with the safety and trust of guests in such an unprofessional manner is absolutely unacceptable for an international hotel chain. We have reported the incident to management and advise every guest to be extremely vigilant here. Not recommended!"

"What a place! I honestly don’t understand why this hotel isn’t #1 in town, because for what they offer, it absolutely deserves to be. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need — from tea and coffee to all the cutlery and essentials. I specifically requested a quiet room away from the elevator, and my request was kindly accommodated. The on-site laundry is another huge plus. You simply download the app, and using the machines is super easy. There’s also a restaurant on the 12th floor with a perfect view, as well as a gym on the same floor. In the lobby, you’ll find refillable water stations, coffee, and tea — all very thoughtful touches that make the stay even more comfortable. The location is fantastic too: right next to the metro, with a grocery store downstairs. Everything is incredibly convenient. And then there’s the price and service — both excellent. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Amazing location, great facilities, spacious and clean rooms, thoughtful service, and an excellent price. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. This place deserves way more recognition!"

"**A hotel to return to:** Citadines Danube Vienna ❤️** It has now become one of our points of reference when we come to Vienna. The Citadines Danube Vienna has everything one could wish for to experience the city in a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free way. The location is truly enviable: the U1 subway is practically a stone's throw from the hotel and in a few stops it leads directly to the heart of Vienna, to Stephansplatz, also allowing you to easily connect with all the other lines in the city. As soon as you enter, you are welcomed by a staff that is always smiling, helpful, and attentive. Throughout the entire stay, guests can also enjoy free coffee, cappuccino, tea, and herbal teas. A small gesture that truly makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A special mention goes to the bed: truly wonderful, both for its comfort and the quality of the sheets. For us, sleeping well when traveling is fundamental, and here it is certainly a priority. There are also rooms with a modern and perfectly equipped kitchenette, ideal for those who wish to prepare some meals independently. And right next to the hotel there is a Billa supermarket, where you can really find everything. In front of the hotel, there is also a huge Kagran shopping center, with about 260 shops, two supermarkets, and two floors dedicated to dining, with options for all tastes. ### But the real surprise is the terrace on the 12th floor ✨ It is one of the corners that we love most about the Citadines. In the morning, breakfast is served here, while in the afternoon and evening, the terrace transforms into a perfect place for a cocktail or an aperitif, with a breathtaking view of the city of Vienna. A panorama that, especially at sunset, makes the experience truly special. And I want to give a special mention to Albert, the hotel manager, a person who is always present, helpful, and attentive to the needs of his guests. It is rare to find a manager who manages to convey so much attention and care, not only to the customers but also to his entire team. A thank you, therefore, to Albert and the entire staff, because it is the people who make this place so special and unique. Their kindness, professionalism, and helpfulness make the difference and transform a stay into something more: the feeling of returning to a place that we now feel a bit like home. For us, the Citadines Danube Vienna is no longer simply a hotel to stay at when we come to Vienna: it has become our point of reference.
