"Hotel in District 5 but 2 mins to Pilgrimasse underground. Didn't expect a large Crane and building work outside the hotel. Walkway alongside the hotel covered in graffiti. However inside the hotel was fine, clean and double room large. Air con in our room didn't work. Good shower and breakfast lovely, staff exceptional in the small breakfast room. Good for a city hotel."

"The room was clean, but the upholstery and blankets are worn out; breakfast was catastrophic, the cook cannot even prepare scrambled eggs, which were swimming in water just like the bacon. Reception staff very friendly."

"Really great value in Vienna. I was.booked for a week, and extended my stay as it was such a great value. The room was fine, everything worked, and it was very clean. Nice size bathroom, and it was very quiet facing the inner courtyard. For the price, the room was spacious. Just a few very minor signs of age. The breakfast was excellent, but as a large hotel with many groups, breakfast can be hectic. The selection and quality were excellent. When I booked online, to get a rate including breakfast was only about $5 more than without breakfast, so look for that pricing. The best thing is the location. Just two stops to Karlsplatz on the metro, line runs almost 24 hours a day. And metro line 4 is the best line to get around for sightseeing. And the metro entrance is less than a minute walk from the hotel. Bus line 13A in front of the main metro entrance is direct to the main train station. Nearby are dozens of small restaurants of every type including McDonalds. There is also a Billa supermarket 3 minutes walk. A 9 night stay here, nothing to complain about. Similar hotels inside central Vienna are well over twice the price. So easy to take the metro here, a daily transportation pass is around 10 euros, or just 25 euros for 7 days."
