"The continental breakfasts offered at 17 pounds were above average, but a dinner at the Orange Artichoke was expensive and not at all tasty. The biggest drawback here, though, is the lack of a car park. The nearest car park (Charlotte Street parking) is not so near and costs about 25 pounds each day."

"The room was cute and clean and the location was central but a couple things really disappointed me about our stay: 1) It was advertised as having a sauna, which was a big reason we decided to book. However when we got there the sauna was undergoing longterm scheduled maintenance, something that was NOT communicated with hotels.com where we booked. That was a big reason we booked for two nights so this was very disappointing. 2) We were also supposed to receive welcome beverages booking through hotels.com, these were not honored. 3) The only time we were able to book with the Thermae Spa (one of their partners) was 9-11 the day we checked out, and since checkout is at 11am, we would have had to decide between leaving the spa early or trying to check out late. We asked if we could check out closer to noon thinking that since it was on a Monday it shouldn't be an issue. We were told it would be an additional 10 pound charge. Realistically we could have probably just left late and they wouldn't know any different but I didn't feel right (and we had no other choice) so I had to make that payment. A really poor way to end the trip."
