Large-scale luxury in Belek

Get a taste of paradise at the Calista Luxury Resort, a true Turkish delight. The hotel's iconic architecture is unmissable – its futuristic-looking glass buildings sit pretty at the back of a swathe of sun-bleached sand, which is exclusive to hotel guests.

Set in well-manicured gardens, the hotel offers three outdoor swimming pools. The main event is a huge lagoon-style number that winds through the grounds, edged by spacious sun terraces. There’s also bar on an island over the water. Then you’ve got two pools nearer the beach, one of which comes with six splash-worthy slides. Little ones get their own pool, too – that’s if they’re not too busy enjoying the kids’ club.

Back on dry land, the hotel’s got an impressive activities agenda. Get involved with everything from tennis and volleyball to Zumba classes and mini-golf – there’s even a bowling alley!  Teens, meanwhile, get their own club, which has a separate line-up of sports and activities. For adults after a bit of extra rest and relaxation, look no further than the spa. Here you’ll find Turkish baths, a sauna, a steam room, a vitamin bar, and an indoor pool. Then there’s a long list of treatments to choose from, including a few designed especially for children. If that sounds too slow paced, head to the gym for a workout.

Sugar and spice and all things nice are served at your choice of seven restaurants. The four à la cartes dish up Turkish, Italian, South American, and Asian cuisine, and there’s also an international buffet place. You’ll find a range of snack bars dotted across the hotel, too, serving the likes of ice cream, Belgian-inspired desserts, fresh fruit, and Turkish flatbreads. After dinner, evenings revolve around the outdoor amphitheatre, where you can enjoy a range of professional shows. Alternatively, there are five bars to hop between.
