"Checking in and checking out were both quick and easy. Upon checkin we weren't given alot of information about the hotel nor had we been told about needing an extra room key for the safe or paying a refundable cash deposit for pool towels (€15pp) but we sorted both out later in the day. The approach to the hotel and the foyer area is really nice, fresh and clean. We were on the 4th floor in the slightly more setback part of the hotel, overlooking the pool areas with a partial sea-view which was lovely both day and night. The room was an adequate size but had an unnecessary sofa which got in the way of being able to both open the fridge and the balcony door, the sofa ended up also being where we kept a suitcase as there wasn't alot of room without it being in the way so the room layout wasn't well thought out. The bathroom was a really good size and had everything you'd need (hairdryer was attached to the wall in here), we had a walk-in shower but the bathroom had a frosted glass door which had a gap where it "closed" which could have been better designed. There was only a bathroom mirror and the ones on the wardrobe doors and there wasnt any plugs near the wardrobe mirror which made it a bit awkward for doing my hair and make-up. Adequate wardrobe, shelving and desk space with bedside tables. Kettle, cups and glasses and a few decent English TV channels. Beds were large and comfortable, there was good lighting (a bit too bright in the bathroom) but also the curtains were good at blocking out the sunlight when needed (early hours!). The balcony size was good with a table and 2 chairs. We had a lovely view and although I had been concerned about noise from Veronica's etc at night there was only a bit of a beat to be noticed once the balcony door was closed if we were in the room so it was fine for us. The room was kept clean and was made-up daily.
We stayed on a half-board basis, breakfast was good with omelette and egg chefs, plenty of juice and drink options, pastries and fruit and cereal. Some unusual hot food and the standard English breakfast items (except mushrooms and only on occasion were there English sausages!). Although we stayed for 1 week we only ate in the hotel 4 times in the evening, mainly due to meeting family members from other hotels to eat out together. The first 2 nights was standard but was filling, then there was a Mexican section and Chinese night which were both good. Nice choice of desserts and fruits and salads, again with a chef or 2 cooking meats or pasta etc. We had to pay for water for with our meal which went on our bill at the end of our stay, I feel this should have been supplied free of charge. We only had to queue once at the entrance for a table otherwise we seemed to time it right without it being too busy.
There is a free gym and a spa area which you pay extra for. There are 3 pools, 2 seemed to be heated, a good amount of sunbeds, there was always plenty of choice. Some daytime entertainment around the main pool area and a pool bar serving a limited menu, where you again add the bill to your room tab. There were other "chill out" quieter areas and the best part was the infinity pool at the top, back (but with a good view) of the hotel for adults only, this was generally more peaceful and relaxing. Again as we met up with other family members outside of the hotel we didn't see any of the evening entertainment but there was a schedule with different acts like singers and acrobats. The hotel had a clothes and gift shops and seemed to have different jewellery stalls daily. The hotel was in a great location with the beach just across a small, quiet road on the sea-front with good views of the lovely sunset. Bars, restaurants and shops as soon as you step out of the door. I would recommend this hotel and potentially stay here again (hoping I get a decently quiet room again)."
