Toeing the line between two of Barcelona’s more iconic neighbourhoods – Eixample and Gràcia – Seventy Barcelona’s location is a real winner. Eixample might be home to some of the city’s best-known sights, but Gràcia has a local feel that’s hard to beat. The narrow, tree-lined streets are mostly lined with residential buildings – and it’s got plenty of pretty squares that are perfect for a spot of people watching.

If it’s more the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas that you crave, you’re in luck – it’s about 20 minutes’ walk away. Or you could hop on the metro from the stop that’s a five-minute stroll from the hotel and be there in half the time it takes to walk. On the other end of Eixample you’ll find La Sagrada Familia – reachable from the hotel in just 15 minutes on foot.
