Apartments Roman Krakow

"We stayed here from 9th December to 13th December and location was perfect stones throw from main square, very clean and comfortable beds really comfy modern shower only thing was tiny kitchen we had electric kettle coffee machine but could do with toaster, it makes it expensive eating out every morning.24hour shop almost across the road had everything ,lovely area hair salon downstairs we got our hair done was lovely staff very friendly as was the reception staff very helpful .would highly recommend but no lift and if you have trouble with stairs it's going to be an issue Loved our stay"

"I toyed with the idea of one star but because of the location and nice staff I went with 2. The staff were all great, very helpful and the location was amazing, however ! The noise levels on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights were horrendous right through till 03.30 am , and I mean horrendous, it was like trying to sleep in the middle of a night club, with angry, drunk very rowdy people arguing all around, the police were up and down with blue lights and wailing sirens all night, and we had a mad party going on in the apartment below us untill 6 am on Sunday morning, we were on the third floor with no lift and 85 steps to climb which is tough at my age at the best of times let alone with suitcases, and yes I get that it’s mentioned in the adds and to be expected in a former Eastern block country but even so I still didn’t expect to have to be a mountaineering expert to reach my apartment , and there were another three flights of stairs to the floor above us ! . and I’m sorry but the photos displayed on here in no way reflect the apartment we were in , it was perfectly acceptable, spacious, clean and functional but by no means luxurious or as portrayed in the photos, although I gotta say the shower was great :/), I will add the real photos . They have two separate entrances and I guess we musta been in the less luxurious end or something , for example , our cooker had a sign on which said “out of order” and the duvets were single duvets on a double bed and I would suggest that relatively few of the guests will be polish therefore why no English channels on the tv ? no big deal I guess and I have stayed in worse but I’m just saying, I read stuff about breakfast offers in local cafe’s, I didn’t get any of those offers , people have mentioned an iron , we had no iron, there was no safe that I could find, anyway , in my opinion there are nicer , quieter , easier accessed places available around or slightly off the main square at comparable rates ( this wasn’t a cheap option) I would honestly suggest if you value your sleep and are in anything other than super fit health, choose somewhere else, that said if you are lucky enough to get a 1 st floor apartment and around the corner in the other block with the nice apartments I’m sure it would be a much nicer experience than we had ,"

"Wonderful modern immaculately clean apartment in a beautiful old building in a great location just a couple of minutes from main square. Very easy to follow instructions to get in if you arrive late. Reception staff are helpful and friendly . Loved our stay in krakow and would definitely use Roman apartments again. They are a great price and convenient location. There is no lift though for people who may have mobility issues. No problem for us but maybe for others."
