easyJet holidays named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023
easyJet holidays has today been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023, just four years after launching. The tour operator was given special recognition as a medium organisation for the employee experience it provides, as voted by employees through a companywide survey, as well as being highly commended as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQIA+ employees.
The accolade comes following news that easyJet holidays has extended its growth expectation from 50% to 60%, year on year. The operator launched in late 2019 with a team of 50, before facing the industry wide challenges of the pandemic. It delivered its first fully operational year in 2022, taking away over one million customers and becoming the UK’s fastest growing tour operator. The team is now made up of over 230 people with the business having recruited from sectors including travel, retail, technology and government.
Garry Wilson, easyJet holidays’ CEO, said: “I’m a huge believer that our fast growth and success since we launched our new holidays business is down to the remarkable team we have. I’m thrilled that our team is so excited by what we’re doing in the industry, and I’m passionate about making sure they feel they are making a unique and valuable contribution. So, I couldn’t be more proud that easyJet holidays has been named by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to work, as voted for by our people.
“This prestigious list recognises not only the efforts we put into making sure we offer a brilliant employee experience, but also the culture, teamwork and common goal we are lucky enough to share.”
The accolade comes following easyJet holidays being awarded ‘Rising Brand of the Year’ and the Travolution Awards, and being named the recipient of the ‘Sustainable Future Award’ at The Globe Travel Awards.
