Solo parent offer launched as confidence in holidays grows
easyJet holidays has today launched a solo parent discount, meaning single parents and one adult families travelling with children can make savings on a huge selection of holidays.
Holidaymakers can save £50 per adult and £25 per child on holidays with a minimum spend of £800, taking off from 2 February 2022 right up to 31 October 2023. The discount can be applied using code ONEADULT and is valid from now until 22:00 on 31 March 2022. Families can discover a huge range of holidays hand-picked by easyJet holidays experts, with over 5000 hotels on offer in over 500 resorts.
The discount comes as confidence in holidays increases as a result of testing requirements being removed. easyJet holidays is seeing more families booking getaways, particularly single parent and carers.
Paul Bixby, easyJet holidays’ Commercial Director, said:
“We know that families in particular have really missed their holidays over the last couple of years, and that now, more than ever, people realise that a break in the sunshine is the best way to spend time with those you love.
“But we also know that arranging a family holiday can feel daunting, especially as a single parent or carer. We’ve also seen a significant increase in holidaymakers looking for one adult family breaks so we’re really pleased to launch our single parent and one adult family discount, which can be used across our selection of fantastic package holiday deals in amazing resorts, with family focused themes.
“We pride ourselves on providing brilliant holiday experiences at great value prices for all, so we look forward to taking away more families of all shapes and sizes on their well-deserved holiday soon.”

In 2021 easyJet holidays launched its inaugural sustainability strategy and became the first major UK tour operator to offset the carbon emissions from its package holidays, comprising the fuel used for flights and in-destination transfers, as well as the energy used from hotel stays without any cost being passed to customers. The new strategy focuses on three core pillars – create better holiday choices which is about making sustainable travel affordable and accessible to everyone; keep our holidays special which is maximising the benefits and minimising the negative impacts of travel and tourism including a commitment to support hotels it works with to achieve certification by a GSTC accredited certification body or certification to a GSTC recognised standard, and transform travel for everyone which means embedding sustainability into business decisions and behaviours and driving meaningful change in the industry.
