Rediscover Europe’s magical Christmas markets from just £149 per person

9th Nov 2021Our news

As hassle-free travel abroad returns, Brits now have the chance to rediscover some of Europe’s most charming and magical Christmas markets and make up for last year’s lost festive escapes. From the chocolate-box markets of Austria and Germany to the bustling central squares of medieval capitals, easyJet holidays is offering holidaymakers great value getaways at Europe’s most loved hotels from as little as £149 per person. All easyJet holidays include 23kg of baggage per person, allowing for plenty of room to do Christmas shopping and bring back gifts for loved ones.

The selection of great value Christmas market beaks comes as the holiday company’s latest travel trends report, Taking the Temperature, found that over 3.8 million Brits are still set to jet off in 2021, with almost a quarter of these bookings being made in September alone, showing a trend for late bookings. This is perhaps explained by the fact that two thirds (67%) of Brits feel like they’ve missed out on holidaymaking memories due to COVID-19, while demand for great value holidays is on the rise.

Paul Bixby, easyJet holidays Commercial Director, said: “After last winter’s restrictions meant people couldn’t travel and several markets were cancelled, we can’t wait to send our customers away to this year’s European Christmas Markets, which are a highlight of the travel calendar and a bucket list holiday for so many.

“We know from our own research that people are still desperate to get away and are booking last minute escapes, so we’re making sure we’re keeping holidays accessible by offering brilliant holiday experiences at great value prices with our wide range of Christmas market city breaks.”

Alongside easyJet holidays’ Christmas markets offering, easyJet has seen flight bookings to top Christmas market destinations this winter rise by over a third in recent weeks with Berlin, Prague, Copenhagen, Basel, and Budapest proving among the most popular cities to travel to over the festive season.
