  • 80 delegates from 14 DMCs from across Europe and North Africa attend tour operator’s annual briefing ahead of biggest-ever summer
  • Eco Viagens named easyJet holidays’ DMC of the Year
  • BDX joins the easyJet holidays family as DMC partner leading operations in Spain

easyJet holidays has hosted its destination partners at its annual briefing at CenterParcs Woburn Forest.

The three-day event was attended by representatives from 14 Destination Management Companies from across Europe and North Africa, including the tour operator’s brand-new destination partner for Spain, BDX.

Named “Delivering More Together,” the event provided an opportunity for easyJet holidays to collaborate with its destination partners as the tour operator prepares for its biggest summer season yet.

The agenda included:

How easyJet holidays is continuing to enhance the overall customer experience

  • An “in conversation” session with the company’s head of data exploring how AI can be best utilised across the business
  • A session on branding and how DMCs can transform their space in arrival airports
  • easyJet holidays’ work to become the most loved tour operator by its destinations, including progress on its sustainability strategy, Holiday Better

The event included the annual easyJet holidays DMC Awards, which recognises partners who have gone above and beyond. Eco Viagens were crowned DMC of the Year, commended for their customer-obsessed approach to delivering brilliant experiences for holidaymakers in Portugal, Madeira and Cape Verde.

The event ended with the DMCs spending the day at easyJet holidays HQ Luton, for enriching meetings and conversations with colleagues from across the easyJet holidays business.

Mel Birch, Operations Director at easyJet holidays, said:

“Our rapid growth simply wouldn’t be possible without the support and dedication of our fantastic destination partners. The annual DMC briefing is a highlight of our calendar, bringing us together to celebrate success, strengthen collaboration and prepare for the season ahead, as we work together to deliver brilliant holidays for our customers.

“This year, we’re also delighted to welcome BDX into the easyJet holidays family. Their teams will be the friendly faces greeting our customers on arrival in Spain and helping to deliver a seamless operation in destination.
