"I would recommend this hotel as the best in Vittoria, close to the theatre and great restaurants. But then you’d all want to stay there and I wouldn’t be able to get a room… I am not sure where else to send you for a better service, friendlier staff, nicer rooms, greater location and value. So let me just say - Good luck if they don’t have any availability when you next visit Gozo."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Our room was spacious and came with a Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony which was an enjoyable distraction. The hotel is just a short stroll from San Gorg and Independence squares and the Cittadella. The bus terminal is just to the rear of the hotel for getting to other parts of the island. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs to order and more than catered for our needs. I would definitely stay here if we visited Gozo again."

"We stayed here at the beginning of May and had the most wonderful week. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Shanlon on reception. He took the time to find out exactly what we wanted from our stay — walking, swimming, and sightseeing — and then carefully marked everything on a little map for us: the best places to visit, walks to do, and restaurants to try. That information was absolutely priceless and helped make our week of exploring so special. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully comfortable, with a huge bed, gorgeous shower, and an amazing balcony complete with sun loungers and a hot tub — perfect after a full day of walking. Every single member of staff was lovely. Breakfast offered so much choice, with fresh hot food constantly being topped up and replaced. I even mentioned that I normally have mixed seeds and nuts with my breakfast, and they kindly offered to buy some in for me! The Duke is perfectly placed for exploring the whole island, and the local knowledge from the staff was invaluable. One particularly brilliant tip was to visit the Blue Lagoon early — we were the only people swimming there at 9am, which felt magical and was very different from the crowds we found when we returned later after hiking around the island. A huge thank you to all the team — you are a real credit to the hotel and made our stay incredibly special.
