"This hotel is worth every star beyond 5*! We were not only blown away by the level of quality but the service matches*. We are travelling mother and son, a twin room was provided with able space for getting dress, with excellent coffee making facilities. This hotel is luxury in every aspect. The shower is a rain shower with more than enough room to spend a whole day enjoying just the bathroom. There was a separate dressing area. One minor recommendation, there is no full length mirror for getting dressed. We know ladies love a twirl. The rooms were modern whilst elegant. Ample plugs and lighting. Breakfast was ample even for a continental. You can fill up toast pastries. We took cookies back to the room for post exploring tea and coffee. Everything is ordered to the table. The service was excellent from the youngest team members. Only one day when the younger lady and younger gent wasn’t serving we found the older chap in the restaurant staff didn’t listen to a word we say. We got almost nothing we asked for. We have two minor dietary, mother cant have orange and I cannot have dairy. We got both served to us despite a long detailed outlay. So be precious if you have any intolerances. I asked specifically for soya milk and got dairy. Each other time it was great, the young man so professional and the young lady so friendly. Having booked through a travel agent as a package I am still shocked how affordable the hotel is. Watching hundreds of tourists scramble luggage on vaparetto and bridges the fact you arrive off the bus into the hotel and on an evening can have a more peaceful walk. Plus no matter where you’re exploring all the stops are at your fingertips. The staff from top to bottom are friendly and clearly well trained. Some of the highest caliber staff in the city, would put any of the bog brass 5* hotels up for competition."

"We were absolutely blown away by the most ideal location of Hotel Santa Chiara. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Venice Santa Lucia railway station and right in Piazzale Roma, which made arriving and departing completely stress-free — especially with young children. The transport connections couldn’t be more convenient. The People Mover, bus terminal, water taxis, and vaporetti are all just steps away. It’s also perfectly positioned for walking into the centre of Venice, making everything feel easy and accessible. Our room was perfect — spacious, spotless, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. We had stunning views over the Rio Novo and Piazzale Roma, which made our stay feel even more special. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was fantastic with great amenities. The staff were truly wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They even arranged a visit to a Murano glass factory on our behalf, which was a fantastic experience and much appreciated. Breakfast each morning was delightful, with fabulous views towards the Grand Canal. The selection was excellent, and the fruit, granola, and yoghurt quickly became our family favourite — the perfect start to each day. We had wanted to visit Venice for so many years, and staying here made our trip truly delightful from beginning to end. We’re so glad we chose this hotel — it exceeded our expectations in every way. Overall, Hotel Santa Chiara offers the perfect combination of location, comfort, and friendly service. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Venice and would be very happy to recommend this hotel to others."

"The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was excellent—right opposite the water bus stop, which made getting around Venice incredibly convenient. The train station is also conveniently located just outside; this may be a little noisy for some but it did not bother me . The hotel is also just a short canal bridge away from the shopping mall, KFC and other amenities, and the tourist office. The breakfast was delicious and overall everything about the stay was very good. My only small issue the TV was not a smart TV and we were limited to what we could watch and there was that there was no hot water kettle or tea making facilities in the room, only a coffee machine. However, when I asked, the staff kindly provided pots of hot water, which I really appreciated. A great stay in a lovely hotel!"
