NissiBlu Beach Resort

"We have recently returned from our first stay at the NissiBlu and cannot enthuse enough about this fabulous hotel. From check in to departure the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was apparently only built about 5/6 years ago and this shows in the immaculate and stylish public areas which befits a 5 star hotel. We booked a sea view room and were not disappointed with the beautiful panoramic view from our 4th floor room. The rooms are tastefully decorated and kept spotless by the hard working domestic team. Fresh water each day and the room fresh and clean each morning when we returned from breakfast. The only criticism would be that the hanging space in the wardrobe is not very deep which left dresses crumpled at the bottom. Did someone say “must have been designed by a man” Oops, only joking. The hotel does not condone reserving sun beds and on several mornings we witnessed staff removing towels that had been left by the early risers. This did not seem to be a problem during the day where people had left beds to go to lunch or nipped to the beach for a dip in the sea so clearly intelligent discretion was used. There were ample sun beds, which were the most comfortable we had ever experienced. We were on a B&B basis and ate out at local restaurants most nights. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel, some virtually opposite. On the one occasion that we did have dinner in the buffet restaurant the food was excellent, both in quality and variety. However, we did feel that it could have been a little warmer, a situation that was quickly rectified by one of the chefs when my wife pointed it out to him. Breakfast was also served in the buffet restaurant with its panoramic views over Nissi beach. Again the food was excellent with something to suit everyone. Lunch is available in the Theros bistro which has a good range of options and the food, excellent in every way. As stated earlier, this was our first stay at NissiBlu but will certainly not be the last. It is a great hotel with wonderful facilities and staff that go the extra mile to ensure that you have the best stay possible. It is firmly high on our list and will in future be our “go to” choice for our Autumn retreat. (Sorry Tenerife!!)"

"A true full service hotel with a 5 star rating within the all inclusive Hotels. Beautiful surroundings, clean environment and wonderful views to the ocean. The staff, service as well as food are outstanding and worth any stay. We have never seen so much cleaning in a hotel as with the NissiBlu. From the pool, to the lobby, rooms and eateries, it was clean and well maintained. A big shout goes out to the wonderful staff in the breakfast area, the pool area as well as all the restaurants and reception. The Managment is very attentive and worth a little chat."

"My Husband and I return to Cyprus every year and decided that we would try the Nissi Blu after popping in for a drink last Summer and WOW it was the best decision we made. We spent 10 nights here on a B&B basis and it was outstanding from the minute we walked through the doors, we were checked in by the amazing team and our luggage was taken to the room, we had booked a side sea view and it was perfect. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high level and were left smelling amazing, we were on the 5th floor and it has been known in other hotels to hear people outside in the corridors but this is never a problem here, we had some of the best nights sleep we've ever had in the comfy beds. We spent a lot of time in and around the resort and it's safe to say that they have the most outstanding staff with top customer service skills, nothing is too much for anybody and they are always serving with a smile. We loved our evenings at the Habanos Lounge often watching the sunset then returning later in the evening, the staff got to know us and often remembered our drinks before we had even ordered them which was a small gesture that went a long way. Our air con glitched on one of the days and it was blowing warm air, we reported it to Reception and within 5 minutes the engineer was at our room and everything was fixed within 15 minutes! My only small gripe was the breakfast area, the food is very good but the experience felt a bit chaotic, there is a high volume of people all trying to do the same thing. There's one man serving omlettes and eggs and its right in the middle of the rest of the buffet and it causes quite a lot of congestion, some guests were a bit rude and that didn't help matters. I think Breakfast could benefit from being split into different restaurant areas to allow more space. On the whole this Hotel is a 10/10 for every aspect, we will be returning that's for sure.
