Accessibility on our website
Accessibility on easyJet.com/holidays
easyJet holidays is passionate about providing brilliant holidays at unbeatable prices whilst making travel easy for all our customers including those who may have disabilities. We’re a board member of the easyJet Assisted Travel Advisory Board (EATAB) - an independent committee of European experts, dedicated to providing strategic guidance and practical advice on the evolving needs of customers requiring assisted travel. This supports our cause “to make holiday travel easy” for everyone. Our website easyJet.com/en/holidays is an important part of this, this is where most trips start. easyJet holidays is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
How accessible is our website
We’re committed to ensuring everyone can access our website including people with vision, hearing, mobility or cognitive impairments. Our goal is to design, code and test accessibly; working towards conforming to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG) - published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make web content more accessible and navigable for people with disabilities. And through regular testing and consultancy with specialists we aim to reflect a diverse range of needs across our site.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our website and information is as accessible as possible, there are certain areas where we know we can improve or have accessibility limitations. One of these areas is colour contrast. We’re aware that our orange branding is harder to read when used with other similar colours. We’ve taken every step to ensure that, where possible, the orange is paired with a suitably contrasting colour to improve readability.
