The Galata Istanbul Hotel MGallery

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights at the beginning of October. The hotel is clean and in a great location close to many sights and Metro stops in order to get around Istanbul. Our room was small, but clean and quiet. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and always willing to answer questions and help with anything I needed. The room cleaning service was excellent. There was a pillow menu and everyday our room was supplied with 4 free bottles of water. Just outside the hotel there is a couple cafes, and small grocery store and a pharmacy. Breakfast at the hotel was very unique and nice. Naturally most things on the breakfast buffet were Turkish and unfamiliar to me. However, I like to try new things and most things I tried were tasty. They also have an omelette order area, so you could get eggs to order. All and all this was an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a clean and friendly hotel in the central part of Istanbul making it easier to get around. One thing to note is that the area where the hotel is located is very hilly and steep streets are all around. So be prepared to get your walking shoes on!! :-)"

The staff at MGallery - Galata Hotel are real talent in the hospitality sector and not approaching guests based on trained standards but love to their jobs and their culture. They have helped resolve several issues beyond their scope in short time and with a professional manner. This is not to mention the uniqueness of the Ottoman Hammam and being in a 200 year old building. Additionally it is a 5 mins walk from Galata Port which has an amazing view. Highly recommended!"
