Tropical Beach Hotel

"Jet2 say this is a three star +3 star at best on the hotel. It says it’s a four star no chance the hotel is nicely situated to the beach staff friendly and warm and welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel is dated two plug sockets per room which if you go into family room, you will need more, the rooms are clean and cleaned every day Food is poor set up for Eastern European if you like cold meat breakfast and stews 👍🏻not great for AI Entertainment wasn’t great and one bar open, which is a pool bar everywhere else pretty much shut I guess it’s the end of the season but other hotels seem to be busy🤷🏼 As for as the rep goes useless"

"On our last day here now, very pretty hotel and location with beach excellent. Clean hotel and staff good especially Thomas makes the hotel, he’s great. Reception needs to smile abit as arrived late at night and no smile/no one to help with suitcase which is unusual for Turkey. Beds are the hardest I have had in a hotel so going back with back and hip ache, they added a blanket to mattress but did not help. Food well really it’s the worst I’ve had in Turkey and I don’t moan and I am not the only one here, one row of hot food, dishes in order Rice/Stewy stuff and then another Stewy stuff/ some veg/wedges or fries. Then bit of meat either chicken or meatballs and pizza. That’s it but salad is lovely and few deserts. No lasagne/spagetti bolognese/potatoes etc, very foreign hotel and not many English so food not English. A lot of Germans and Turkish so food they like and like I say many people moaning here. Snacks are fresh cooked each day so not buffet, lady cook better than the man. Mostly burger, hotdog,chicken or fries. The Entertainment is nothing as advertised full entertainment but only saw a man throwing bottles in the air which have seen at other hotels past years and a violinist at dinner, again many people moaning about it. Pool only has sun on half side so everyday half pool empty as in shade, Would I go back NO but really enjoyed the beach and location."

"Good bits first…. Location was good for us just the right distance between Marmaris centre and Icmeler as we wanted to visit both, but wanted a quiet location to chill also. Easy access to the beach with towels provided. Definitely book a sea view Staff at the Hotel are amazing, hotel is very clean and tidy, staff always helpful and they all work very hard in every department I found. You having a good time is their priority. Air con works well in rooms and is quiet. Food is fresh every day, salads, cold meats,fruit, some basic cereal at breakfast and toast,Omlette cooking station everyday, freshly cooked BBQ food at lunch and dinner, kebabs/fish/meats. Went out about 50% of the stay for something different, amazing steak and kebabs at the Golden river steak house 10min walk away and genuine B1G1F cocktails. CIHAN restaurant round the corner for authentic Turkish food. BAD BITS….. Rooms although are very clean, they are basic, very 80’s vibe No tea/coffee making in the rooms Beds are rock hard, but we discovered on our check out day we ask for a late check out and was given another room 243 a twin room, the single beds where better but road noise could be an issue for some people that’s why I suggest booking a sea view.So pot luck there. No English breakfast options, NO sausage/bacon/beans, just basic cold meats/odd cheeses/salad/fruit/toast! Went out for breakfast after the first day, can recommend Roxy’s bar a 5min walk for a basic English breakfast 300lira. No premium Alcohol on the AI but the local stuffs just as good imo and no premium cocktails on the AI either. You get what you pay for and we got it cheap so didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised with our stay here,Staff are great and it worked well for what we wanted and had a nice time, adults only was a bonus too. Overall we wouldn’t come back mainly because of the bed!"
