"2nd time staying here. The hotel has changed from a traditional half board to a bed and brunch hotel. Reading previous reviews we were a little apprehensive but found that the new concept worked very well. Was worried about the noise but we were not disturbed in any way by outside noise (apart from one night when a hotel nearer the beach had an impressive firework display). We found the bed & brunch ideal having an 11.00 lie in and still finding a great breakfast was a bonus. Lots of restaurants in the area and entertainment so evening meal no problem. There have been a few changes since our last stay - self check in which wasn't too taxing and there was a member of staff on hand to assist. Seems to be a lot more greenery and some work done on the outside of the building. Love the bar showing sport in this case it has the choice of 4 European matches. Rooms spacious, clean and lots of cupboard space."

"My honest review. Love this hotel and will be back! Stayed at the spring vulcano 25.10 for a week. Arrived 12.30 and Balance room was immediately ready with a welcome glass of cava! Try to avoid 7th floor as it can be noisy early morning as staff clean the UP area on the roof. Was quieter once we mentioned it. Pigeon problem on our balcony so constant Pigeon poo!. People moaned about cockroaches. Only saw 1 and that was under a poolside sunbed on day 2. Balance pool is nice but can only be accessed at 10am and plenty of beds. Main pools are available from 6am so Balance should be too (some towels down very early in main pool area at 6am but beds still available at 9am). Beach towels provided free. Only get beer, water, apple, pineapple or orange at Balance level. Wouldn't hurt to have a white wine pump too and tea and coffee. Infinity edge pool is lovely but very cold. No music up there for our first 4 days then DJ Carlos turned up 2pm for 2 hours. Music was good and DJ Carlos excellent but could do with something playing all day every day to give some atmosphere (other guests said the same too). They say DJ for brunch but its not daily as advertised. Brunch is amazing!! Cava, teas, coffees, juices on tap. Big selection of pastries, breads, cereals. A variety of different milks including oat. Big selection of fruit, cheeses and hams and preserves and a honey comb dripping (amazing). Good selection of fried food includion bacon and different sausages, fried eggs, scrambled, omelette and boiled eggs. Chocolate fountain on the go too. Something for everyone served 7.30am to 12pm. Good service at bar area and staff excellent and good food selection but only served till 4.45pm. Drinks reasonably priced but not cheap. Great location and lots of good restaurants close by. We ate at a variety of restaurants. Great location for a seaside walk along the promenade. Lots of supermarkets close by too."
