Hotel Best Jacaranda

"Based on a family of four staying HB. We booked the hotel as it had inclusive tickets to Siam Park with Jet2. Wouldn't book again. I have no idea how this is a 4* hotel or how it gets 4* tripadvisor reviews. Hotel Its huge, and thats not a good thing. We didnt see much of it as we chose to go out every day. What we did see was run down, grubby, dark and depressing just like the rooms. Hence why we went out every day! Food We had breakfast and dinner/lunch each day. The buffet restaurant is huge but its just the same food repeated all the way down, not a lot of choice. The quality of the food is poor. Second night I had "oriental rice" in which I found two meat bones. Then opened a sliced burger bun to find it mouldy inside. Yuck. Even the desserts were poor - the same boring options repeated every night. On HB you have to buy all drinks at dinner including water which seemed a bit stingy. Room We had a family room. The only thing it had going for it was the size, lots of sideboard space for clothes etc. Otherwise, it was run down, grubby, air con was practically non existent, bed was rock hard, and the kids were sleeping on a sofa bed that looked like a mouse trap. We had a lovely view out of the window of some wasteland and a burned out car. Theres no sound proofing either, could hear everything from the rooms above, below and either side of us. After the second night we opted to eat out of the hotel, and spent all day at Siam Park just for somewhere else to be. The money we saved on the inclusive park tickets we absolutely spent elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and just get the nicer hotel instead!"

"Nice hotel, rooms clean, food good, plenty of room around pools. Bars and restaurants good food and drinks. Very enjoyable week"
