"Truly honest review of our experience at the hotel, we are currently on our last night of a 8 night stay. Overall, we have had a great holiday but some minor negatives to note but overall really positive. First impressions pulling up to the hotel from the coach were better than expected going from pictures online, nice clean, big airy entrance lobby with two members of staff on the reception. Reception staff were really welcoming and in particular there was a lady working behind the reception desk who related to us straight away as her baby was the same age as our baby. Everything was explained to us and check in was really speedy! We made our way to our room and we are currently staying in 535. Small room but really clean, modern and had everything we needed. To note, as I have looked online prior but couldn’t find information. a cot was provided and was waiting in the room on arrival complete with bedding which was a really nice touch as previously at other accommodation’s we have had to ask for a cot or wait for it to be delivered to the room. Only downside to the room was one of the beds, the mattress is awful for me personally as it is extra firm, it has felt like sleeping on concrete but the other bed in the room is fine. Admittedly I haven’t mentioned this to reception as I didn’t want to cause any hassle. The pool area was clean, well looked after. We didn’t use any other facilities including the gym or the sauna. The food at the hotel was hit and miss but I think the reason for this being is, as the season is coming to an end and the hotel shuts tomorrow it felt like the menu was really repetitive in comparison to reviews I have read before booking the holiday. Food was luke warm albeit the food I had was of good quality. The highlight for the hotel was the staff in the restaurant area in particular Jesus, Oscar and pepa. Absolutely fantastic and an absolute asset to the hotel. Nothing was ever too much, really attentive, professional but also took the time to speak to us regardless of the language barrier at times. The negative to note was today 30/10/25 the hotel staff were starting to close down the hotel ready for season end and at the pool bar the staff were so transfixed on deep cleaning and removing sun beds from around the pool ect that it almost gave a feeling that we was ‘just in the way’. Speaking to other families around the pool the feeling was mutual. Around mid day it started to rain so naturally everyone from around the pool went for lunch and the outdoor seating became full. We decided to buy sandwiches from the shop as the hotel did not have much food to serve as the stocks had been run down. We was unable to get a seat outside so we sat in the lobby infront of the bar. As we opened our sandwiches the man from behind the lobby bar started saying something about a manager and came out from behind the bar and said “no food, the boss will be watching on the cctv and pointed at the cctv camera above the bar. Then said something about him wearing a suit and if we see him to hide our food” I told the guy behind the bar if the manager has a problem then to come and see me as there is no where to sit outside and there is next to no food being prepared to be cooked or left at the pool side bar’ then another guest came in to the lobby and asked if he could order food and he said no, speak to pool bar manager. The pool bar manager then came in to the lobby after speaking with the guest outside and brought him in cutlery, place mats and sauces and allowed him to eat in the lobby. So why is it one rule for one and not for the other? So if I eat a packet of crisp in the lobby then is the hotel manager going to come and tell me off? I’d dread to think how they keep up with the demand when the hotel is at capacity and there is no room for people to eat when they clearly struggle with next to no guests in the hotel. Finally, the WiFi worked great for the first 3/4 days of our stay on the 5th level and then stopped working. Other guests we spoke to said the same. At dinner service tonight review cards were left on all tables and then suddenly the WiFi is working again? Frustrating. Overall great hotel, apart from the atmosphere on the last day of feeling an inconvience. I would of been inclined to give 5 star if it wasn’t for the atmosphere and experiences of the last day."
