"We stayed for 7 nights and it was the best break away from home. The food was different every night matching a different theme and there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. All the staff at the bar are friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was all run and organised by Sam - what a lovely guy. Absolutely fantastic, kept the energy going even on the quieter nights when nobody came down to the bar. I could not fault the experience Sam provided. 5 stars are all for him."

"1st time at this hotel for me and Hubby bed and breakfast. Was looking forward to it because had checked the reviews and although mixed decided we would make our own decision and didn't expect luxury. We can handle places that need updating no problem as long as they're clean. Unfortunately this was not the case for us. Although the room looked OK when we 1st entered we noticed the floor wasn't clean and had hairs and white paint chippings in living area and bedroom. Our front door was dodgy and we had to bang it closed and check it every time we went out due to coming back and it being wide open on one occasion, thankfully nothing was taken. We also had electrical issues and the fuse box kept tripping and sparking when we put the card in, turned out that there was a faulty socket at the sink area and couldn't use so had to boil the kettle on the living area floor, we requested a move and to be fair reception staff were very helpful and accommodated us by moving us the next day, on our 4th day I had to ask when the cleaners would be doing our room due to dirty towels and an overflowing bin, the reception got onto it straight away and the cleaner came but we couldn't understand why they passed our room every day without checking, especially when there were quite a lot of cleaners going around. We did notice the sweeping brush used was thick with hairs so that explained why we had hairs in our room on our arrival that weren't ours. There's is only a few sun shades around the pool although plenty of sun beds, we opted to go to the higher level which had sun beds and was quieter but no shades at all and very dirty. The glass looked as if it's never been cleaned for a few years and lots of pigeon droppings lying around and an overflowing bin of rubbish, not nice to see when on holiday. Pigeons were everywhere which is nothing unusual whilst on holiday but it's not nice to see them on the dining tables at breakfast helping themselves to leftover plates of food which the staff ignored. Breakfast was OK with lots of choice to suit everyone. We made the most of our holiday and enjoyed going out to the strip every night for our evening meal as we love Puerto Del Carmen and have been several times . Yes the hotel is dated and badly needing attention but not clean. Can't fault the reception staff though, they were always helpful. It wasn't for us I'm afraid therefore wouldn't recommend"

"We spent a week on vacation at this hotel in Puerto del Carmen. The apartment was large with a large bed, comfortable sofa, big TV with English channels. The bathroom was outdated, on the last day there was a problem with the shower and we were 4 hours without being able to use the shower. The management and maintenance staff spoke with us offering to change rooms but we did not see it necessary as it was the last day and affected a few hours. They brought us cava and fruit to the room and the director offered us to stay the last day in the room until late. The staff is friendly, although not many speak English."
