El Campello Holidays

A gorgeous stretch of beaches and coves

With 14 miles of coastline, El Campello is in a great position on the Costa Blanca for those who love to be beside the sea. But it’s handily close to Alicante too, less than 10 miles in fact, which opens up your options if you’re looking for more to see and do.

The coastline is quite varied on this stretch of the Costa Blanca. At Muchavista, you’ll find wide sandy shores and waves that are perfect for windsurfing and bodyboarding. But elsewhere along the coast, there are also pretty coves and cliffs to explore.

When you’re looking for things to do beyond the beach, you can explore the town's rich cultural heritage through historical sites such as the Torre de la Illeta, an ancient watchtower dating back to the Roman era, and the Archaeological Museum of Campello, which displays a collection of artefacts. Or, if you’d rather be out and about under sunny skies, follow the hiking and cycling routes through the surrounding mountains and search out the Canalobre Caves.

Your El Campello questions, answered

Yes, especially if you love watersports. And there’s hiking and biking in the mountains, too.
Maybe. It depends on what you want to do. If you’re keen to explore the area and nip to Alicante and other towns, having a car is a great idea.
The weather is pretty great all year round, but it really comes into its own in the summer when it’s hot, dry, and sunny.
