"I would rate this hotel as a 3* only, certainly does not live up to a 4*. On the plus side, very clean and reception staff are charming. The room we stayed in had a flickering bathroom light and a patio door handle which looked ready to fall off, both were immediately reported to receptionist who kindly removed flickering lightbulb and said maintenance would sort the handle 'tomorrow', neither issues were sorted in the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was OK but repetitive, no variation. In the national electricity breakdown there was NO emergency lighting on the staircases at all. A torch was reluctantly supplied by reception. Despite travelling as a party of 4 we were originally allocated rooms 2 floors apart, us in one and the grandaughters 2 floors away. Unacceptable. All in all, very unimpressive hotel."

"We came as a family group of adults and had 2 rooms but upon check in were informed they'd be on different floors despite asking for adjacent rooms on booking. Eventually they sorted 304 & 308 on same floor. Despite both rooms being the same price, one was much better than the other, with balcony & larger wardrobe with chairs and table. 308 had no drawers or even shelves, chairs or space to leave suitcases. Very little storage space meaning unpacking was largely impossible. Hairdryers in the rooms need replacing as cut out when hot & smell of burning. There is no real chance of socialising there in an evening as there is no bar. The outside roof terrace was a big disappointment- the 2 loungers looked really old and manky. On the plus side breakfast was good BUT it's exactly the same every day and 'hot food' is not even remotely warm in the 'warmer'."

"Hotel is tired and rather depressing as well as being expensive for what it is My room classed as “Superior double with terrace “ was not at all superior ! Rather cramped , minimum sized double bed ,2 tea bags , 1 sachet instant coffee , no milk ,no free water Dusty surfaces and colour scheme of brown and grey throughout I paid 209 euros for this privilege without breakfast Very disappointing Didn’t risk breakfast so only saw staff at reception who were charming except for the manager who although present made it clear he was too important to engage with customers"
