"If you want to have that ‘unwanted guest’ experience, this is for you. I picked this hotel due to the view, it did not disappoint. The staff, however, need a refresher in ‘customer’ and ‘service’. They are confirmation reservation said that they would be happy to help me with any transfer to the hotel be from the port the airport the train station, etc. however, when I emailed them back to set it up, they asked me to call them I called several times and no one picked up the phone. Finally, I got in touch with someone who said “they don’t do that here“ unless we needed assistance to the airport from the hotel. When I got here to check in, the staff were very obnoxious, arrogant and conceited. My husband asked if we could leave our luggage here since it was early and they curled their nose, but agreed. The website did see say that there may be a possibility for early check-in when my husband asked, he pretended that he was checking the computer and said no it’s not available. I was watching him from the side. He never touched the computer keys. We did inquire about the restaurant there and they wanted us to know that we would have to pay €20 in order to “just enter the restaurant”, as if we wouldn’t be able to afford to eat there. After we checked in, we were a little dusty since we had spent the morning and most of the afternoon in the sun, I was undressing to get in the shower when the maid just walked in without knocking because “she needed to check the mini bar“ we had barely been there 30 minutes in the room. No apologies, no excuse me, as I stood in the room I paid for, half dressed. Their level of conceit and arrogance does not meet the level of service. They were unable to recommend a restaurant. When I inquired about the breakfast that was in my confirmation email their response is yes there is breakfast if you’ve paid for it. Now they can very easily look up and tell me whether I had paid for it or not, but they weren’t interested in being helpful at all during my stay and I would highly not recommend them and will never return. The room was clean. The AC did not seem to work. I was unwilling to deal with surly staff so did not mention it."

"This hotel is located a few blocks from Sagrada Familia and has a jaw-dropping view of the basilica from the roof-top bar. The location is far enough from the basilica to be quiet and avoid the crush of tourists and other visitors and its close enough to use as a home base and take the subway to other parts of Barcelona. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants. The coffee shop across the street is exceptional. The dive bar across the street is also surprisingly great. Our room was clean and spacious. It had obvious wear and tear from use and could use a refresh, but was otherwise clean and serviceable. The staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast included a great selection and one member of my family is still talking about the fresh orange juice. Check-in and check-out times are rigid but they have a room for luggage. The roof-top bar requires reservations, even for hotel guests."

"Lovely staff, big clean modern room. Happy with classsic room ( street view). Priority access (best to book)to rooftop bar with magnificent views of the La Sagrada Familia. Drinks & a cute food'truck" not too pricey either. Breakfast delicious too. would definitely stay again!"
