Leonardo Hotel Las Ramblas

"Couple 55+ - First visit to Barcelona and found this to be an ideally located hotel just off the lower part of La Ramblas. Very small room 27 was allocated which had 2 beds squeezed into a room that was a bit bigger than a closet but had an okay sized bathroom. We didn't spend a lot of time there as the weather was good but not great for spending lots of time in there. Cleanliness was okay, Bed was comfortable enough despite the lack of room around it, small fridge is right next to the bed. Bottle of water given each day. Rest of hotel seemed nice, small pool on top but a nice rooftop area for relaxing after a long day sightseeing. Staff were lovely and very friendly. We didn't do the hotel breakfast, nice "365" bakery just 2 mins walk away did breakfast croissants, pastries, toasts, coffees etc for little money and this worked well. Also got Sandwich rolls and food for lunch there which were great."

"Book for 2 nights for 3 pax and another extra night for 2 pax. Requested to stay in same room for the extra night ( right upon check in ) and was informed they will let us know if request granted. No one ever did nor leave a note about it. That morning my son went to reception to ask and was initially informed we could stay same room for 60 euros,( which we agreed to pay ); a minute after said no as room was book already. so we had to move out and since we had a tour that morning, requested to leave the room by 1:00 P.M. - Bald headed / tall guy was whom i spoke to to make him understand and requested but said NO that Check out time is 11:00 a.m. so we had to quickly dump all our things in 2 minutes, leave luggages at store room to rush for our tour. We barely made the tour in time as had to take a taxi to the meeting point otherwise we would have miss it. Had we not ask ahead that morning we would not have known that we had to vacate the room that very morning and we already had a tour arranged. NO ADVANCE NOTICE AND WILL NOT EVEN AGREE TO THE 1:00 P.M. TIME FOR US TO VACATE ROOM SINCE OUR TOUR WOULD END AROUND 12:30 THAT DAY. Location not even along Las Ramblas, economy room EXTREMELY SMALL, YOU CAN HEAR NOISE OUTSIDE WHEN GUEST WALKING AND TALKING. NEVER GOING BACK."

"The front desk are extremely arrogant They thought we didn’t understand spanish The male staff on the front are the worse Specifically this man around hes 46-50 whit glasses he’s very arrogant and always giving attitude The room was horrible tiny like a box The bathroom was great and spacious The water temperature perfect We was facing someone apartment The pic of this hotel/ room are very deceiving 💯 I was really surprised The location is perfect because is walk distance from the shooping area and restaurant Bec careful at night is very dark and there lot of crack heads around The best was not to miss it great team very positive team and attention We came to London whit bed bugs bit over our legs and back"
