"It’s an absolutely lovely hotel — very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. The whole place feels well looked after, and everything is kept spotless. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay — there’s such a great variety, and everything was fresh and tasty. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"This was one of the worst hotels i’ve ever stayed in. For a start, there were stairs to get to the reception and there was a disabled lift, but they wouldn’t let me use it for my heavy luggage. The rooms were worn down, the walls are paper thin (i could hear zippers opening and closing next door), the bedsheets were unclean since day 1 and never changed. The AC is very noisy so you cant sleep, the towels were not replaced and left on the floor, breakfast was an absolute joke (my colleague commented that you could only have toast). The cherry on top was that checkout was at 11, and their late checkout was 11.30 (no joke). I wanted to leave my luggage and storage and you actually have to pay to do that (5euo per piece for 2hrs). Notably, they did have free storage for people checking in but not for those checking out. I was there on a business trip (4 nights) so was obliged to stay there per arrangements, but honestly if your options are this hotel vs not coming to Barcelona at all, then its wiser not to see the city at all - yes, its that bad. I dont remember the last time i stayed in such a bad hotel."

"We booked our room 2 months before arrival and requested a double room. One week before arriving we received an email offering an upgrade for 18 pounds. We declined the offer but repeated our request for a double room. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived to be told they only allocate rooms on the day and they had no double rooms available. Not professional. Not happy. When I sent an email detailing our complaint they claimed that "like many hotels they cannot guarantee or confirm client requests". My wife and I travel a lot and our experience is that most hotels do respond to customer requests, It's a service industry at the end of the day! Other than that it was an adequate 3* hotel. I will say the 8 euro breakfast was good value for money."
