Hotel Abbot

"This hotel looks nice and inviting but when we stayed there was some noisy people further down the corridor who was staying opposite each other but constantly shouted to each other, we told the reception but was ignored. the room is ok not the best or the biggest, the bathroom is what I would discribe as a mini or micro bathroom, the bath was so small we could not use it, the shower was ok but leaked at the sides, the bathtub had black mould around it. The matress was uncomfortable, basically for what we paid we expected much much better this hotel should only be a one star."

"All good on arrival and check in . Returning to room at 9pm, air con on for 2 hours and the rooms not cooling down. I go to reception to explain the problem. I'm told "the air conditioning isn't working / on, because outside it's not warm enough to need it (see photos. It's 20degrees outside and 25degrees inside.!) 'Have you a fan?' No no fans. 'Is there a room that's cooler?' No. No cooler rooms. 'Tomorrow you can take it up with the manager' (tomorrow I'm leaving....) Yeah I get it. You're on the nice quiet night shift and you can't be bothered giving customer service. Disappointing. 137 euros a night? 4 stars? Disappointing. And I won't be returning."

"Hotel is well located, couple of min. to Metro station Sants. We have spend 2 nights during weekend. Room in 3 floor was quite and clean. AirCondition doesn’t really worked well. Tried to cool down to min., but no success during the whole stay. I Didn’t contacted the reception with that (came late, left early). We could stand it for 2 night… If more, would ask for help ;) Breakfast was fair, 9€/person Staff was nice, helpful. I can recommend, if you are looking into well located hotel but don’t need fancy look and views, then its a good choice."
