Close to the park, with a rooftop pool
This modest hotel is a little north of Barcelona in the Gràcia neighbourhood, but it’s a real plus that you can walk to Gaudi’s Parc Güell from here. When you want to explore the city centre, the Vallcarca metro stop is nearby, ready to whisk you into the heart of Barcelona.
Days here start with a wide-ranging buffet breakfast. There’s a choice of sausages, omelettes cooked fresh to order and local cheeses, fruits, bread, and jams. The rooftop saltwater plunge pool is a great spot on a hot and sunny day where you can catch a view of the mountains and the city as you dangle your feet in the water. Later, grab a bite from the hotel’s gastrobar with a range of options from pasta to grilled meats and fish. If there’s a big game on, you can watch it here.
The rooms are modest but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Some of them have terraces if you like the idea of having a little outdoor space to call your own – particularly lovely in the summertime, especially the Premium Terrace rooms, which also have sun loungers.

What Catalonia Park Güell has to offer
Parc Guëll
Located on a hill in Barcelona and designed by the iconic architect Antoni Gaudí in the 1920s, the park is renowned for its mosaic sculptures, colourful tile work, and architectural elements. It has some of the best views of the city and is well worth a visit.
Getting around
From Catalonia Park Guëll, you can hop on Barcelona’s metro at Vallcarca and be in the city within ten minutes. The metro’s extensive network of lines provides easy access to key attractions, neighbourhoods, and landmarks.
Sips of the city
Order a classic Sangria, a mix of red wine, chopped fruit, and a splash of brandy or rum. Another popular choice is the classic Cava, a sparkling wine produced in the Catalonia region, or Vermut, a fortified wine deeply rooted in Barcelona's culture and often enjoyed as an aperitif.
