Atlantic Hotel

"Just returned from a week at the Atlantic. Arrived 26th September for a week. We received a fairly nice welcome on arrival at check in. Room 211 was well equipped , air con was great as was the shutters and blinds. Housekeeping was excellent each day with fresh towels provided and sheets changed twice during the week. WiFi a little intermittent but perfectly functional. Water machines were great idea Roof top was great - sadly the sunbeds were just flat pallets so not much use. Bar wasn’t open during the week we were there. Beach was beautiful with towels provided - would be great to have access to a toilet on the beach at one of the beach cafes - we ate at Nil Bleu most lunchtimes - maybe an arrangement with them ? Breakfast was pretty good , would have been nice to have things labelled and maybe an omelette station given the 4* status of the hotel. When I saw a Nescafé machine for coffee my heart sank however the coffee bean machine next to it made a decent coffee. Loved the fresh orange juice - a nice touch. Fresh bread was lovely. Haseem was great at dinner time , the half board options were limited but thankfully we were not picky eaters so always chose something we liked. Alcohol quite expensive for Moroccan hotels. Amzad was BRILLIANT during meal times - as a hospitality professional , it was so lovely to see him enjoying his work. He really was brilliant and a shame to see him bossed around by management and other waiters. Restaurant managers didn’t appear to do any work , not even talk with guests - so their jobs aren’t really required as the waiters in white and assistants in maroon do most of the work (!) A great inexpensive break , the weather was beautiful so we were lucky. The area around the hotel is quite dodgy at night with lots of undesirable characters (!) but hotel felt safe on arrival in the evenings. Would recommend- thank you"

"Hotel doesn’t allow any modest clothes (burkini ) in their swimming pool as upsets other customers apparently ! Food choice were limited but taste is food . Staffs were friendly , location is great Z"

"We chose this hotel through Rainbow Tours for our week-long stay in Agadir. Due to the abundance of things to do in the city, we didn't want to go all-inclusive. We checked in after midnight and were greeted with dinner in our room, which was nice after a long journey. We had no complaints about the room; it was nice and clean, and it was very quiet outside, so sleeping was easy. I must say that this hotel is charmingly decorated and efficiently managed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. We didn't use the pool because we prefer the ocean, and the hotel's private beach was a pleasant surprise. This was our first time in Agadir and we will definitely return and choose the same hotel."
