Many of the hotels in Valletta’s historic centre have preserved the old-world interiors of yesteryear in their interiors – not this one. The owners of this 13-room boutique hotel set up shop in a 400-year-old limestone townhouse, and have renovated the property to bring it up to date. However, they’ve worked hard to preserve the character and original features of the building, they just now blend in nicely with modern comforts! Expect a rooftop terrace with a plunge pool, and an impressive spa.

Something else that’s impressive is the hotel’s location – it’s just one block back from the Grand Harbour. Plus, sights like Fort St Elmo and the Upper Barracca Gardens are both less than a 10-minute stroll away. In fact, you can reach pretty much all of Valletta’s top sights within a 10-minute wander, so it’s a great place to base yourself in the city.
