Vita Hotel & Rooftop

"Amazing stay at Vita Hotel & Rooftop St Julian’s while in Malta. On arrival I was greeted by Lorena who was fantastic and was very helpful by being able to check me into my room earlier than planned. She was a pleasure to meet and speak with throughout my stay. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming and the room and guest services were excellent. The hotel also has a great outdoor pool on the rooftop terrace with great views directly towards the Mercury tower which was great touch. I will be definitely recommending the Vita to family and friends and really look forward to re-visiting again in the near future."

"The hotel itself is ok, some of the staff are quite friendly. The room size was good and the bed may have been comfortable but it was hard to tell as sleep was impossible. Our room was overlooking the centre of the drink / drug/ club area and the fighting and screaming that goes with it until 4:30 - 5am , the windows are of an age where they do not restrict any noise from coming in so there is that to put up with. Even with noise- cancelling ear buds , it was impossible to get to sleep. The hotel is very much geared up for young people and there was plenty of them in the hotel making as much noise as they wanted. The building is concrete framed with no ceilings as such so basically you are looking up at the underside of the floor above, you can hear absolutely everything. We were booked for three nights and left after one terrible night . We asked for a refund for the two other nights but were told we should have done our research and not offered anything at all. It’s well known that St Julian’s is lively but what wasn’t well known when we booked this place was the total lack of effort or foresight that has been put into mitigating the noise levels . On the face of it , in the online representations , this hotel looks great but the reality is something completely different."
